On November 3, 2016, the second Zorg41 Summit takes place in Rotterdam. Why is the Zorg41 Summit so important? In 2041 the ageing population reaches its peak in the Netherlands and 10 working persons will have to ‘take care’ of 9 non-working persons (as compared to 9/7 in 2015). To accommodate the increasing healthcare needs, the healthcare sector must realize a significant transition. During the Health Innovation Challenge, part of the Zorg41 Summit, SME’s and healthcare institutions together will come up with innovative solutions for these essential cross-organizational challenges in the healthcare sector.

The Zorg41 Summit is organized by SMO together with Gemeente Rotterdam, Zorginstituut Nederland, Chamber of Commerce and the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE). VNO-NCW Region Rotterdam also joins as new partner this year.
