Founders of Greenwheels, On their way to become serial entrepreneurs
Back in the starting blocks: ECE Campus
With 20 years of entrepreneurial experience we are a rare species amongst the campus population of student entrepreneurs.
Nonetheless the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship was our number one choice out of the numerous shared office facilities in town.
The mix of modern design, professionally managed facilities and a lively but laid back atmosphere is unique. Furthermore the open mindedness of fellow entrepreneurs is inspiring; the various workshops and educational activities are too.
When we graduated from Erasmus University and started our first venture “Greenwheels” back in 1995, there was no ECE Campus. We just started in our student dorm- installing a pc and fax machine next to the bed. Potential suppliers were welcomed in the typical rubble of a student dorm: junk furniture and empty beer bottles everywhere. As you can imagine not every visitor was charmed by this scenery.
In hindsight we are a bit envious of the current ECE Campus facility that is available for today’s young entrepreneurs. Even if you are no more than a one man army, you will still be perceived as a professional company.
