In 2014 the V4 (represented by the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia in the Netherlands), had a goal: to introduce their innovative startups to investors in the Netherlands, the Benelux and even beyond. The region has a large pool of very talented entrepreneurs ready to bring their innovations to the world. And it happened, an event was organized in the Rotterdam Science Tower bringing more than 20 of the most promising companies. After a successful event several startups succeeded and were able to get investments reaching an estimated total amount of 2 million euro! Therefore, they have decided to organize something even better in 2016 as part of Startup Fest Europe and bring you the best innovative companies from the V4 region.

For we believe that this event can be interesting to you for the following reasons:

– The Visegrad countries represent a vibrant environment for innovations and high-tech sectors.

– Some of the V4 high-level representatives, investors and investment agencies will introduce to you our countries, full of business and investment opportunities.

– Last but not least, we will welcome HRH Constantijn van Oranje, Chairman of Startup Fest Europe and Don Ginsel, founder of Holland FinTech as the keynote speakers and Mr. Keith Wallace from De Investeerders Club as already traditional moderator.

The winners of startup competition will receive awards from ING and the best V4 startup, together with already  selected Czech startups (exclusively sponsored by Corpin), will continue to the Startup garden & Investor Tour at Startup Fest next day.

The event is organized by the Embassies of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, together with the  partners Altex, CzechInvest, DBH Group, De Investeerders Club, ECE, ING, and Startup Fest Europe.
