ECE at STEPI International Symposium

28 May 2015

The Science and Technology Policy Institute (STEPI) in Seoul, South Korea is hosting a major international event today: the STEPI International Symposium. This year, the Symposium is entitled Global Entrepreneurship and Startup Ecosystems and serves as a place for experts to discuss ideas on various entrepreneurship-related issues with scholars and policy makers. Our very own Martin Luxemburg from the ECE Management Team is there in Seoul today to talk about the European Startup Ecosystem.

The 2015 STEPI International Symposium hopes to create solutions and discussions that will be helpful to other countries who want to develop their national economy by encouraging startup entrepreneurs. More specifically, throughout the symposium, participants will be able to discuss how to selectively accept the influences and advantages of Silicon Valley, how to grow a startup ecosystem reflecting the local particularities of each country, how each country has developed its own entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem, and, finally, how Korea can adopt and develop these cases.

Have a great startup idea? Turn it into a business in just 10-weeks by joining the Get Started programme (Special Summer Edition starting on June 19th!). Also don’t forget to sign up for the ECE Congress- Looking Ahead on June 11th!
