ECE Community member Gambitous raises $3.5 Million
The Dutch game company Gambitous B.V., now rebranded as Good Shepherd Entertainment has raised $3.5 million (€3 million) from the American media and communications company Advance.
Established in 2011 by Harry Miller and Mike Wilson, Good Shepherd Entertainment is an ECE community member which initially began as a crowdfunding platform at the ECE campus between 2014-2015 through the online funding platform Symbid; one of ECE’s longstanding and active community members.
Good Shepherd Entertainment has been raising investment funds to help independent developers to publish indie games. But today the game company is witnessing a new phase for its brand. Hence, the founders of the game company aim to use the money for improving production capabilities for indie games, especially in terms of writing, and music, whilst strengthening its marketing team and aggressively growing its private investor network.
As ECE family, we are all proud to see Good Shepherd Entertainment thriving!
