Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) competition today

12 March 2015

Today, March 12th, the Dutch pre-election of the Global Student Entrepreneur Award (GSEA) 2015 is being held. This is is the premier global competition for high school, undergraduate and graduate students who own and operate businesses. Nominees compete against their peers from around the world for the chance to win capital and in-kind prizes from sponsor organizations.

Qualifying competitions are held in cities and countries worldwide, with the 2015 Global Finals competition held in April in Washington, DC, USA. Today the Entrepreneurs Organization is hosting the Dutch pre-elections, with many talented and ambitious young business owners competing in front of a jury hoping to make it to the Global Finals.

The GSEA aims to inspire students to adopt entrepreneurial endeavours by bringing global visibility to undergraduate business owners whose companies are innovative, profitable, socially responsible and adhere to high ethical standards. ECE also aims to stimulate such entrepreneurial endeavours, offering programmes such as the CE Booster and Get Started programmes aimed especially at new startups, and the New Business Cycle for already established small and medium enterprises.
