Keeping in touch with our community

10 April 2020

As the home for more than 100 innovative startups, we always try to support our community the best we can. During this uncertain time, we are still keeping in touch with our network of entrepreneurs as much as possible. In the last couple of weeks, we designed innovative ways to do so.

1. Webinars

In the first week of April, we hosted two interesting webinars for our community. On April 2, Rutger de Graaf, Advisor Residence permit foreign start-ups & foreign investors at Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) shared the key measures for entrepreneurs dealing with the consequences of the corona crisis. The entrepreneurial group that joined him got information about the compensation for sectors affected by corona measures, the SME credit guarantee scheme and more.

In that same week, our Programme Director Dr. Ferdinand Jaspers hosted a free webinar about innovation leadership during an economic downturn. He shared his vision on this interesting topic and provided insights, suggestions and more to support innovation professionals in their efforts and role to keep innovating

The key takeaways of the webinar can be found here.

2. Flexible office spaces

During this corona crisis, everyone is advised to work from home. Realising that in some situations this is not an ideal working space, we are now offering single private offices at our campus next to our permanent range of offices. These workspaces can be booked in a flexible way, for only one day or a full week (Monday – Friday). Next to this safe, private and furnished workspace, the offices feature all of the necessary facilities.

More information about these flexible office spaces can be found here.

3. Hosting online events

With the current situation in mind, we understand the difficulty to keep spreading your message to your audience. Therefore, we decided to help our community out. We are offering our knowledge and-, experience with webinars and meeting rooms as the first steps to host your online event. We designed an all-in package including a consult, technical support during the start-up of your event, one of our event spaces and more.

More details and information about registration can be found in the flyer here

4. Offering support

Lastly, we wanted to make it easier for our community to offer support or to get help from fellow entrepreneurs. We believe that we can get through this together if we all help each other out. We designed an online form so that you can easily inform us about what kind of help you need or can offer to the community.

If you think you have knowledge or skills that may be useful to startups and entrepreneurs in need of assistance, of if you need support from the ECE Community, you can complete this form.

We’re happy to help you.
