Minister Henk Kamp gives Dutch Centres for Entrepreneurship the go-ahead
At the Week van de Ondernemer (Week of the Entrepreneur) minister of Economic Affairs Henk Kamp provided the Dutch Centres for Entrepreneurship with half a million euro to make students in the Netherlands more entrepreneurial. “The percentage of student entrepreneurs is way too low”, claim the initiators Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Twente. The Dutch centres for Entrepreneurship will join forces in order to increase the percentage of student entrepreneurs from 3% to 10%, which will also result in a stronger proposition for the foreign startups that will be attracted by StartupDelta.
Being part of the Dutch Centres for Entrepreneurship, ECE is excited to work in more close collaboration with the other centres of entrepreneurship. How they are going to reach their goals? By developing joint programmes for student entrepreneurs and bringing them in contact with an international network early on. All other centres for entrepreneurship in the Netherlands will be able to join later this year.
