Igor Kluin is the founder and CEO of Monyq which aims to free people from outdated banking. Previously he was the founder of Qurrent, an innovative bottom-up renewable energy company. In 2007 Igor won the first Postcode Lottery Green Challenge from a field of 450 green innovations from over 50 countries, selected by a professional jury chaired by Richard Branson.
As an ‘activist entrepreneur’ Igor was a co-founder and vice chairman of De Groene Zaak (green business lobby) and has served on several think-tanks and advisory boards. His current venture Monyq is taking on traditional banks head on as he strongly believes they are obsolete and innovation and freedom is long overdue in the banking world.
