As a serial entrepreneur Michiel Muller (1964), together with founder Marc Schröder, built the unmanned petrol chain Tango into an unprecedented success. The two went on to found Route Mobiel, the competitor of the ANWB Road, breaking another market open. With Bieden en Leven he then brought innovation to housing through an online auction.
Muller is also active as an investor. In 2011 he participated with the fund of Skype founder Zennstrom in Fashiolista.com, a fast-growing social fashion community and Vault79.com, an online auction site. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of LaDress.
As a Top 100 marketer Muller has won numerous marketing awards. He is a frequent speaker on radio and TV, and has received an Effie and Accent, amongst other awards. Muller wrote the book “Experiences of a Serial Entrepreneur” which was chosen by the public as ‘Business Book of the Year 2010/2011’.
