YES!Delft and ECE entrepreneurs together for the last joint session this year
On Friday, the 3rd of November, the (aspiring) entrepreneurs came together in Delft for the last collaborative session of the programme of YES!Delft and ECE. ECE’s Programme Director, dr. Ferdinand Jaspers, hosted the workshop which focused on the Business Model Delta and Startup teams. The day kicked off with a round of achievements from the participants, to which one cheerfully announced that they landed their first major customer.
The next step in the entrepreneurial journey is taking into account the financial aspects in the business model. By the end of the day, you have to make sure that there is a viable business, preferable a scalable one. The Business Model Delta, a technique developed by ECE, allows for deeper understanding of the unit economics of the business models. Having specific assumptions to test helps to accelerate the search for viable business models and contributes to the development of new insights.
After the lunch break, the teams pitched their progress of the past four weeks and presented their goals for the following eight weeks. At the end of the session, Ferdinand Grapperhaus from Physee shared his startup story. He showed the participants what components a powerful pitch for investors has.
Upcoming Friday, the 10th of November, the first coaching session will take place, this marks the second part of the Get Started programme. In the next 8 weeks, the participants will focus on validating their business idea and put into practice the knowledge they gathered during the process. Here, they will be aided by the knowledge and expertise of our group of experienced coaches.
YES!Delft and ECE successfully launched their first collaborative programme. The participants from both sides were really enthusiastic and worked intensively together during the past four weeks. They gathered many new insights and connections from unexpected sources. Read more about this new collaboration here.

CamHatch – Evert Sanders en Jamal Warner
With the CamHatch, we imagined to do the impossible: re-engineer a webcam cover into a device that fits any webcam, is userfriendly, is secure and looks great. That meant creating every element to make it thin, small, secure and easy to use. The result is more than just a webcam cover. With CamHatch people take back the power over their own privacy by disabling people to peek through their cam.

Co.LAB – Eleonore Spagnuolo and Lana Jelenjev
Co.LAB is an online business learning platform and community for creative entrepreneurs to connect, share, grow and thrive doing what they love. We want to build and sustain a community that can provide you with practical information, emotional support and opportunities to connect and create together. It is also a laboratory where experiments take place in a safe, supporting environment, where knowledge is exchanged and new connections are made.
