SHE LEADS in Creative Entrepreneurship
Data shows that there is a decline of women’s hiring into leadership roles. This has led to a reversal of one to two years of progress across multiple industries as well as significant challenges for gender parity in future jobs. The culture and creative industries (CCIs) are an exception. This publication investigates the reasons behind high female representation in the CCIs as well as what makes female leaders best suited for creative growth. Esther Goos, CEO & Founder of Scooperz, and Caro van de Venne, Partner & Co-Founder of Barcode Architects, share their stories and shed light on the challenges and opportunities of female leadership in the CCIs. In addition, the two female entrepreneurs give recommendations for a brighter female future. Could Creative Entrepreneurship pave the way for economic growth and gender parity?
