Earlier this year, Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship and nlgroeit published the latest edition of the Top 250 Scaleups, the annual monitor of the fastest–growing companies in the Netherlands. Following the release of the Top 250 Scaleups 2022 Insights Report, the time has come to announce the Top 5 Nominations for Impactful, Young, and Female Scalers of 2022! The winners of these prestigious awards will be announced at the Top 250 Scaleups Event on 10 October.  

In the Young Scaler category, the youngest fast-growing companies are put in the spotlight. Despite their short existence (of five years or less), they manage to scale up quickly. The average age of Top 250 Scaleups is 11 years, which means that Young Scalers are notably younger. Young Scalers not only grew fast during challenging times but also managed to create 2,118.5 new jobs over the period of 2018-2021.  

We are proud to reveal the five nominees for the Young Scaler Award 2022. These five young scaleups have been nominated based on the impressive growth they have experienced over the past three years.  

The Young Scaler 2022 will be awarded to one of the following contenders (in alphabetical order), on 10 October during the Top 250 Scaleups Event:

The presentation of the Young Scaler Award and the other category awards (Female Scaler & Impactful Scaler) will take place this year during the Top 250 Scaleups 2022 Event on 10 October at the AFAS Theater in Leusden (Inspiratielaan 3, Leusden) from 14:30 to 19:30. This event – made for and by scaleup entrepreneurs – includes an inspiring programme with renowned entrepreneurs and the opportunity to engage in fruitful discussions about scaling up.
