Webinar: Dutch governmental support for startup entrepreneurs
The coronavirus COVID-19, and the measures taken to restrict the spreading of the coronavirus in the Netherlands, have a huge impact on the Dutch economy, and will no doubt also affect your business. We understand your worries about the rising economic uncertainty that comes with the pandemic and we do our best to support and guide our community as best as we can. Therefore, we host on April 2 a free webinar about the Dutch government support for startups affected by the corona crisis.
The Dutch government is taking measures to help entrepreneurs affected by the crisis. Our webinar covers these measures, and addresses concerns like running out of cash, not being able to pay off debt and what to do with staff left idle. Rutger de Graaf, Advisor residence permit foreign start-ups & foreign investors at Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), will join this webinar. He will provide the latest news and information from RVO, lead on all corona-related policies and support, on the government-backed resources for entrepreneurs dealing with the consequences of the coronavirus crisis.
We will be focusing on the following compensation options and bridging solutions:
- Temporary Emergency Bridging Measure for Sustained Employment
For companies that have less or no work for their employees - Compensation for entrepreneurs in affected sectors (TOGS)
For SMEs, with or without staff, that suffer loss of necessary closing of their enterprise, restriction of meetings and/or curtailment of travel. - SME credit guarantee scheme (BMKB)
For SMEs that are affected by the coronavirus.
Since Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship is a recognized RVO startup facilitator for international innovative startup entrepreneurs, we will also cover the government support for entrepreneurs with a Dutch Startup Visa.
